On Monday night, Justin and took my grandpas to get their suits for our wedding. In case you weren’t aware, these two gentleman will be our officiants for the ceremony. However, I forgot my camera, so please excuse the cell phone photos. π
We met up at the Higginsville junction, and my Grandpa Frank drove us up to Men’s Warehouse. We had previously picked out suits for the dads and grandpas, as well as pants for the groomsmen, at Men’s Warehouse, and knowing what we already wanted helped speed the whole process up. Luckily, the grandpas suit sizes were in stock. Everything was able to be taken care of right away – unlike with the dad’s suits. Both Justin and I’s dads have to go back up to Men’s Warehouse to get their suits fitted.
Papa and Grandpa have been such good sports about it all, and I am so grateful they were willing to be such big parts of Justin and I’s wedding day. I was able to get them their ceremony scripts this week, so we are getting everything in place. π
After we finished up with the suits, we took them out to eat at 54th Street since it is right by Men’s Warehouse in Independence. I love being at a place in life that we could treat my grandpas to dinner as a way to say thank you for all they are doing for us. π
Official countdown for the wedding from the time of this post: 58.
