To my husband on your birthday:

You woke up another year older today, but it was another year we had together. This is the 6th birthday we have celebrated together. We have marked your birthday by going restaurants, Top Golf and (once) to a baseball game. But this year – this year is my favorite. It is the first (of many) that we are celebrating as husband and wife.

You were an incredible boyfriend. Then, you were a spectacular fiance. But, babe, I think husband is definitely your best title yet.

I will forever be grateful we found our way into each other’s lives

Thank you for traveling with me. For understanding the very real levels of hangry that I go through. For being a great dog parent to Banner and Watson. Thank you for loving me, even when I sometimes cry for no reason. For starting my car on cold mornings. Thank you for being you, because you’re the best person I know.

This year has been full of firsts, like the wedding and traveling abroad, but I love our traditions just as much. Dinner out on your birthday. Opening Christmas presents with just us at the house. Lazy weekend mornings (that sometimes turn into lazy weekend days). So many little everyday things that mean the world to me.

So here’s to another year older, wiser and even more handsome. I can’t wait to see what the future holds for us, and I hope your birthday is amazing. I love you so much. 🙂
