Katrina | Higginsville, Mo. fall senior session

“My friends call me Kat,” she said as we walked through the field. It was a gorgeous fall day, perfectly suited for this gorgeous girl’s senior photos. The wind ruffled the tops of the trees, but we were safe from the cool breeze.

We talked about high school and her activities. “I played softball and I am in the band,” Kat said as we got to our location. The sun was shining through the trees. A few leaves still clung to the branches. More of them littered the ground. The tiny trees, closest to the ground, still held the majority of their pretty, red leaves. I absolutely loved this Higginsville, Mo. fall senior session. 🙂

In the spring of 2018, she will be a graduate. Hitting this milestone and striving for the next. Kat will be going to college at the University of Central Missouri and wants to major in English.

Kat (and her mom, Misty), thank you for choosing me to take your senior photos! I had so much fun traipsing through the woods with you, climbing on perilous stairs and laughing about the wind creating “Beyonce hair.” I hope your senior year is everything you wish for and more. And, I hope you love your photos! 🙂
