Things we love: our favorite restaurants

We are definitely budgeting, but we still have favorite restaurants. We allot a certain amount of money for eating out each month because sometimes you just don’t want to cook. These are a few of our favorite places in case you’re looking for some inspiration on your night off from the kitchen. 🙂

My favorite

For me, any Mexican restaurant is my favorite. When we contemplate going out to eat, Justin will ask what I would like. I always answer with, “Is that even a question at this point?” because I will choose Mexican food 95 percent of the time. I love El Toro in Higginsville and El Patron in Concordia. 🙂

Justin’s favorite

When I asked Justin what his favorite restaurant is he said it depends on what kind of food we are eating. So, he doesn’t have an absolute favorite I suppose, but we agreed that Tusconos in Buckner, Mo., is amazing! We love going there for special occasions. Their food is incredible and the portions are big enough that we always have left overs to take home. Their cheesy bread and bruschetta are so good and we usually get them as an appetizer.

Local favorite restaurants

Here in Concordia, we love The Palace and Cree-Mee Freeze when it is open in the summer. They were life savers last summer after couples golf league on Thursdays. 🙂
