One of my goals since I became a photographer was to be published in a magazine. I wanted to see my images printed inside one of those gorgeous bridal magazines and hoped to inspire brides for their own wedding day. When Britney from WedKC emailed about photographing one of their styled sessions for the spring 2021 magazine I was ECSTATIC!!! And it was along the lines of a styled session I had been dreaming up for a few months: A French inspired spring wedding at Longview Mansion. Ahhhh, I was literally squealing with joy.

It was a bit rainy and cloudy during the shoot, but we all had so much fun. I loved meeting so many new vendor-friends. Plus, I am so grateful I get to show off their work and how amazing they are. The details for this shoot were unbelievable and I spent close to two hours playing with them all!! You can see a few behind the scenes reels over on my Instagram! I was also willing to do anything to get the shot and ended up barefoot in a fountain at one point.*also on reels 😂
