Riley – Senior

As the sun set behind the trees Monday evening and the crickets were chirping, we began the sunset hayfield session. Stepping into the tall grass, I laughed as I told Riley that I knew the overgrown field may not look like much right now, but to trust me. We spent most of the evening laughing. Laughing about how awkward it is to have your picture taken. We laughed about all of the bugs. There was even laughter about my lenses fogging up because it was so humid.

Photographing this senior sunset hayfield session was so much fun, even if we were eaten alive by mosquitos. I loved spending the evening with Riley. She is a truly beautiful girl inside and out, and I just adore her style! Her lace top and blush skirt are such timeless and classic choices, and they photographed wonderfully.

I absolutely loved photographing Riley! It is crazy to think of how long I have known this young lady. Sherri, her Mamaw, was my baby sitter from when my mom was done with maternity leave until I started 5th grade. I remember dropping by Sherri’s as I got older and seeing little Riley running around her home. It was such an honor to document this part of this young lady’s life and I cannot wait for our fall session to work with her again!
