Concordia MO Street Fair 2019

I love going to the Concordia MO Street Fair with Squirt. We try to go with them every year to watch him ride rides and get to hang out with family. As he gets older it is always fun to see which rides are his favorite. A few years ago, it was the slide and I think we rode it 15 times that night. This year, he really loved spinning as fast as he could in the tea cups. (Super difficult to get a picture of that, BTW).

He also enjoyed riding the Cliff Hanger with his mom (who was kind enough to let a little one ride with them so she wouldn’t have to ride alone). It spins in the air and you lay like you are hang gliding, which looks so fun. It was also one of the rides that specifically said you could not get on if you were pregnant.

Karley and I were so proud that he rode the Rock Star with some of his friends. It is the big ride shaped like a guitar (kind of?) and it goes the highest out of all the rides. Squirt mentioned he was afraid of heights, but he rode it anyway!

We went to the Heidleburg Garden on Friday and Saturday night where we turned in four or five mugs each night. Because yes we cleaned out beer mugs to make room for bottles and baby things. So adult. My parents came down and into the beer garden for the first time on Saturday night, and they were absolutely tickled with the Top Hats, which are always a tradition at the Concordia MO Street Fair, also called the Fall Festival. Hope you enjoy a few photos from this year!
