Project365 – Week 20

365: I laid on the kitchen floor with Banner to get a photo of his nose. Dog noses are unique like finger prints, and no two are the same. I used my Lensbaby composer for this shot.

365: I skipped Friday. It was partly an accident and partly that I didn’t want to get my camera out after I finished editing and posting a session. I had a case of lazy bones. Here is a link to the session, if you’re curious about what I was up to that evening. This was also taken with my Lensbaby, just on Saturday night. We had a family seafood dinner/potluck at my aunt and uncles house. We didn’t sit around the fire, what with the Royals and Mizzou games going on, but I do love picture of fire so I took this.

365: Sunday’s start with sunrise service at church and then Justin and I watched the chiefs game followed by a little Netflix action. I had purchased a pumpkin and carving kit after church, and started that around 5. The pattern said easy, but it was not! It took around an hour start to finish.

365: I also took this one on Sunday. Our tree in the back yard is finally starting to show some fall colors, but not many.

365: I captured this gorgeous fall sunset after part two of an engagement session with Andy and Kate! A post about that will be up soon. As a Concordia, Missouri photographer, I try to have my camera with me always so that I can capture beauty like this.

365: It was Barkbox day! This one was Halloween themed, and Banner took to the vampire rather quickly. It’s head is stuffed, but the body is made up of about 10 squeaky pods. Banner the vampire slayer. There was also a rope toy with a piece that only makes noise when it is shaken, a chew bone-ish thing that looks like it will be quite a mess, some jerky sticks AND pumpkin spice dog treats. #basic.

365: I came home and started working on photography stuff… and forgot to put some things out to thaw so we decided to get Cree Mee Freeze for dinner. This is a rare treat. Cree Mee usually closes at the end of September!
