Project365 | January 2018

January 2018 has been amazing. Some highlights so far: I know you’ve heard me go on and on about budgeting, but we are loving it believe it or not. We have big dreams for our future and getting our finances under control is imperative for those dreams to become reality. This month we remodeled our bedroom, which has been incredible. I have been so happy to have a side I can get out on. 🙂 It’s the little things in life!

For project365 this year I set some new rules, and I am hoping they challenge me creatively. For January, I chose to do all black and white photos.

Rules for 2018:

  1. Must use a different lens each day to boost creativity.
  2. No back to back photos of the dogs. They are adorable, but there’s more to our day-to-day. And it’s almost lazy on my part to just take photos of them at the end of the day.
  3. Try to theme at least three months. Self portraits, color, etc.

Cheers to the new year! Hope you enjoy!
