I have completed one month of this year Project365, and I’ve already learned a few things to take with me into the next month. First of all, I need to start thinking about what is going on that day and planning my photos, because probably half of them are of Banner. Not that I am complaining, but I’d like to be more creative than just photos of my adorable pup.
Second, I have a few lenses and I need to try to work with as many as I can to get those creative juices going. I love using my 35mm because I am usually rather close to the subjects and I just adore the wide-angle. But, then I’ll put my 85mm on and I love how the subjects pop off the background. In February, I hope to use my Lensbaby for a few and work to expand the variety of images I am creating.
Below I have included all thirty-one photos from January. You will see a lot of my pup (not at all sorry about that), and a few that I may have ambushed Justin with as we were out and about (like the one in the grocery store.. or Lowe’s). Project365’s are hard, to be honest. Some days I feel like I have nothing to photograph, and I am working to see the beauty in the everyday.
