I am so excited to share this Missouri spring family photo session with you!! When Sarah reached out about spring mini sessions. I was so excited to photograph the Homfeld family again. They are absolutely some of my favorite people to have in front of the camera and incredible return clients. I always adore when I get to photograph families as they continue to grow and change and watching Briar grow from last year to this year has just been incredible. 

Missouri spring family photo session

We moved our session from Saturday to Friday because Friday was supposed to have nicer weather and we got the perfect golden hour with probably the last of the dogwood tree petals in Maple Leaf Lake Conservation Area. It was absolutely stunning!! Sarah, as usual, killed it on the outfit choices. She did say that Blayne helped her choose between a lighter dress and a darker dress, and I think a lighter dress is just perfect spring vibes. It was phenomenal. 

I do love the pictures when we get Briar to smile at the camera but I will say I love whenever he is smiling at his mom and dad so much more! I love the pictures from when they are all snuggled together and he is just so funny! Sarah and Blayne would try to share a kiss and Briar was having none of that. He is just the sweetest. His little giggles are amazing. I also love the fact that we were outside and Briar apparently loves sticks so that made it super easy to get and hold his attention. 

To the Homfeld Family, thank you so much for allowing me to capture these precious memories for you! Your family is so sweet, and it was great getting to know you guys better. I can’t wait to see you all continue to grow together!
