Holiday recap: So many family gatherings!

Our December was jam packed with Christmas festivities. I apologize for the delay in sharing our Christmas round up, but we were supposed to have one more a weekend in January, but it has been postponed due to weather that weekend.

My dad’s work Christmas party is always the first Friday, and that is always a great time. Justin’s birthday, along with his twin brother, two cousins, and the arrival of my friend’s baby all taking place on December 4th, as well as Squirt’s baptism.

We celebrated with my dad’s side of the family the weekend of December 17th. The actual Christmas celebration may take place on Saturday but it is usually the entire weekend spent at Grandma and Grandpa’s house.

The following weekend we had a Christmas on everyday. Thursday, I wrapped presents with two of my cousin’s at our Mema and Papa’s house – a tradition we started long ago. Friday afternoon, Justin and I loaded up all our gifts, the pup and all of his necessities to stay the night at my parent’s house. That is something we have started with Squirt so that we all get to celebrate in the morning together. Friday night we had Christmas with my mom’s side of the family. Saturday morning was Christmas with my family. Sunday we went to Springfield to celebrate with Justin’s family. And then, on Monday, we celebrated with Justin’s dad’s side of the family.

So many celebrations, but I wouldn’t have it any other way.
