Historic Arrow Rock engagement session | Missouri wedding photographer | Clair + Taylor

I’m so excited to share this Historic Arrow Rock engagement session with you today! When Clair  reached out about her and Taylor’s wedding photos, I just couldn’t wait to work with them! There’s something so special about engagement sessions. And I just LOVED getting to explore Arrow Rock again! I hadn’t been there since I was a reporter right after college. 

Historic Arrow Rock Engagement Session 

It was a bit overcast during the session, but it didn’t matter. Clair and Taylor were incredible to work with and I had so much fun for them! They were both just naturals in front of the camera and I hope they had as much fun as I did. Engagement sessions are just so important to the process and really give my clients and I a chance to get to know each other before their big day. 

We started at the Arrow Rock State Park and then continued to the downtown area of Arrow Rock with all the historic buildings. It is just such a cool area. Some of my favorite photos are the ones we did in downtown Arrow Rock! I loved using the fence line and bushes in the images! Even if at one point I was literally shooting through the bush like a creep. 😂 And it helped that it was earlier in the morning so it wasn’t very busy! 

To Clair and Taylor, thank you so much for allowing me to capture these precious memories for you! You are both so incredible, and it was great getting to know you guys better. I can’t wait to see you all at your wedding in August!
