Warrensburg Mo fall sunset family photos

We were graced with a few warm days at the beginning of October. The leaves had begun to change, and there had been a bit of chill in the air before it snapped back to full sun and warm winds. We’ll take it. It was like the best of both seasons – the warmth of summer with the colors of fall.

The timing couldn’t have been more perfect. It was like we were commemorating Derek and Mamie’s recent anniversary and Rhett’s upcoming birthday! We joked and laughed, and spent most of the time trying to get Rhett to laugh. That sweet boy has some of the best facial expressions ever, and I was cracking up during their session. Rhett also got to be my assistant as a reward for some good behavior by taking pictures with one of my polaroid cameras.

I have the joy of calling The Hackler family part of my family. And you guys know how much I love photographing my people. Mamie, Derek and Rhett – I had so much fun with you guys last week!! You were so great to work with, and I hope you love the photos as much as I do. That sweet boy of yours is so wonderful, and just the perfect amount of ornery. Enjoy! 🙂
