Favorite five snack foods

Snacking is my jam. I love to have a little something to munch on while I edit, or watch a movie, or honestly when I am bored. Justin and I make jokes about my “hangry levels,” and snack definitely do a lot to keep those at bay. I (like most) get exceptionally cranky when I am hungry. Below are my favorite five snack foods for some quick hangry relief. 😉

1. Boom Chicka Pop

This is like a special treat. Our local grocery story only sells Skinny Pop (which is still delicious!), but I love whenever we grocery shop on our way home from the city (this entails anywhere between Blue Springs and Kansas City, and is pretty much how we all describe the area – just “the city”). Popcorn is definitely my go to snack.

2. Halo Top

A recent discovery and one I am in love with. As far as snack foods go, being able to eat a pint of ice cream for only 200-400 calories? Amazing. Chocolate chip cookie dough is probably my favorite right now. I love ice cream, and being able to enjoy this is just delightful.

3. Fruit

Apples and bananas mostly. I like to take these to work to have something good to snack on throughout the day. And, both apples and bananas go great with peanut butter with is just amazing. 🙂

4. Sunbelt Bakery granola bars

Mainly the chocolate chips ones, or anything with peanut butter. So great to throw in my bag on a wedding day for when I need a little pick me up. I just had the s’mores ones a couple weeks ago and OH MY GOSH – So good!

5. Chips and dip

Salsa, queso, buffalo chicken dip – I love chips and dip! When we have family get togethers (especially around the holidays) there are all kinds of delicious dips and chips to munch on!

I do love cookies and all things sweet, but try not to buy them often or I will binge on them like nobody’s business.
