Best 17 moments of 2017

This year has been absolutely incredible. The best 17 moments of 2017 were so hard to choose. So many incredible things happened, and so many of those were in October. I hope you enjoy our best 17 moments of 2017!!! What were some of your favorite moments this year?

17. Basically all of Italy

We loved our honeymoon, and it definitely ignited the travel bug for me. There are so many places I want to see, and even a few more in Italy, like Lake Como in Cinque de Terre.

16. Hosting our first family event at the house

This was a first for us! We received so many nice things from everyone for our wedding, and we were so happy to get to use them when some of Justin’s side of the family came over!

15. Printing photos from the wedding and honeymoon to decorate the house

I love printing photos, and I am so happy to have albums and photo books from our wedding and honeymoon. We also have a canvas grouping on a wall in our living room! Justin also built some photo shelves for a wall in our kitchen, and I love having so many photos displayed this way. It’s easy to rearrange if I feel like it, and to change the photos out if I want.

14. Street fair traditions

Hanging out with my Dad and Squirt at Street Fair has been something we have done since I moved to Concordia. This year Karley and one of my friends and her daughter joined us. I love watching how excited they get for all the rides.

13. Being able to photograph so many amazing people

I am so grateful for every single person who let’s me take their photos!!

12. Dress shopping with the bridesmaids

I loved getting to spend time with some of my best friends to go dress shopping in preparation for Justin and I’s wedding day! It was a great day with coffee, laughs and a lot of fun.

11. Family pictures

The Grays Photography did an amazing job capturing our family, and I love all of these photos!

10. Dress shopping with my Mom and Karley

This was a once in a lifetime experience, and I am so happy to have spent the day with my Mom and Karley.

9. Photographing Kali and Jon’s wedding

My best friend got married and I was able to capture it all! I loved their wedding day. 🙂

8. Family reunion at the lake

We do this every two years, and it is always such a great time to see everyone! Some travel from Texas, others from California and a few other states. There are a lot of us, and it’s great to spend some time together.

7. Bachelorette in Columbia

I loved this day. Crafting, mimosas, Mexican food and dancing to some country music. I had a blast, and I hope everyone involved did as well. 🙂

6. Our cooking class in Florence

We learned how to make pizza and gelato from scratch. I think those are definitely some good life skills.

5. The new additions to our family

My cousins Christi and Katie had babies over the summer, and I just love cuddling with the sweet boys.

4. Bringing Watson home

This sweet girl is now around 40 pounds, and fitting right in with our little family.

3. Our gondola ride

Seeing Venice from the water was incredible, and definitely a highlight from the trip.

2. Seeing the Colosseum with Justin

This has been on the top of Justin’s bucket list since I’ve known him, and I love that we were able to experience this together.

1. Our wedding day

Obviously my favorite thing about the year. 🙂
