All of these photos were taken at the end of April, and it’s so fun to see Wynn looking so little. For assignment 3, we were to shoot two different black and white film stocks. I love the look of this film stock, which is Ilford Delta 3200. I was able to shoot indoors, with the film rated at 800. Since it was still a bit cool at the end of April, being able to use my film camera inside was so nice.
I love the look of these black and white photos. They don’t feel too heavy, and I surprisingly really like the grain. However, I do wish the photos were a bit sharper, and even with the film rated at 800, my shutter speed was still pretty slow – ranging from 40 to 100.
These two photos of Banner and Watson just bring smiles to my face, and I bought two more rolls of this film stock so that I can take more film photos while just hanging out at home with the dogs.
I tried to change my angle quite a bit instead of only shooting straight on towards Wynn. He moves so much and my shutter speed was so slow, and sometimes the camera would take a bit to focus that it was a tad exhausting!

[…] I finished a roll of color film stock on Keaston’s birthday and decided to try this black and white film stock to finish up assignment three. Assignment three was about black and white film stocks, and which we preferred. These photos were all taken on Ilford 400, and I think I prefer the Ilford Delta 3200. […]
