I loved spending an evening with the Soendker’s at La Bella Vineyards & Winery. We got together on a weeknight just under a week before their baby’s arrival. We spent some time on the dock of their lake, and the light was gorgeous coming through the trees.
I have known Cory for as long as I can remember. And, I’ve known Mallory since we were in high school together. It is so exciting to be able to document their baby’s arrival. Having a connection with my clients is always important. However, there is something getting to be there for the moments most important to your friends that makes me love what I do that much more.
I loved the way the the light came through the grape vines as we walked through the vineyard at La Bella. Their dog, Bella, joined us for the session. Cory calls her his “furry child.” We joked about how Bella has no idea regarding the changes coming around the corner. There was a lot of joking during the session, and I was so happy I was able to get some natural reactions from the couple.
The Soendker’s have a gorgeous gravel lane on the property. It is lined with a white fence and beautiful lamp posts next to the lake. Cory suggested we do some of Mallory’s individual photos on the lane. As a Concordia, Missouri Photographer, I love being able to have sessions some place that is important to my clients.
