I’m so excited to share Scout’s newborn photos with you! Ericka with Ericka Deanna Photography came to our home and knocked these out of the park. And we got them back a while ago, but that newborn life makes sharing things a bit hard. Throw in a toddler and we are seconds away from pandemonium about 90 percent of the time. It’s the best kind of chaos, but chaos nonetheless.

It was a hot July afternoon when Ericka came down for photos. We took a few inside the trailer and braved the heat for some in the hayfield behind the house. My little sister and future brother-in-law came over to help so that we could get ready, which was definitely needed! Wynn was cooperating in 5 minute increments, so that was interesting, but at least we had some cooperation. 🙂

To Ericka, thank you so much for your patience with our eldest and your creativity when taking our photos. You are so sweet, and I have loved getting to know you better during these sessions. It’s been so nice to chat about having young boys and how things change during pregnancy with the second one! I can’t wait to see your family continue to grow, and I’m sure your son is going to be an incredible big brother!
