One of my favorite things about being a wedding photographer in Missouri is all of the gorgeous venues I get to work at! I am highlighting my 5 favorite Missouri wedding venues of 2021 today, and I hope this inspires you to look into these stunning spaces. And of course, these are just 5 of the amazing venues in the area. 🙂 Oh, and don’t forget to snag my free guide, Tips for creating an amazing wedding timeline, here.
Emerson Fields
One of the venue owners at Emerson Fields, Amelia, used to be a wedding photographer, and she used all of that knowledge to create an incredible venue! There are so many options for your ceremony location (inside, dockside, a field or in the open-air pavilion), and you are able to have the space for the entire weekend.
The bridal suite has a separate exit to be able to keep the bride hidden prior to the ceremony, the amount of white paint they used to help bounce all the light around and get quality indoor photos is insane, and Steve and Amelia are so helpful and sweet. Located in Excello, Mo., – this is a great venue for your wedding!
The Hawthorne House
The Hawthorne House is gorgeous! There is a chapel on site for the ceremony, a beautiful reception space and bright, fun getting ready rooms. You could play games on the lawn and dance the night away on the dance floor.
The porch is a great option or family photos or a covered area outside in case of rain, and there is a sweet bridge between the chapel and event space that would be great for some photos!
White Iron Ridge
White Iron Ridge in Smithton, Mo. is a beautiful new venue just outside of Kansas City. The grand staircase in the main event space is definitely a head turner, and the getting ready suite in the tower is stunning. Big, gorgeous barn doors and huge windows are so great for photos.
A-Vent Space
I love this venue! The A-Vent Space is a beautiful, open event space that is so much fun. It offers such a unique experience, and the gorgeous windows seem to never end. You’ll definitely want to check out this space!
The Historic Post Office
The columns, the garden, and the gorgeous indoor space make this historical venue a great choice for your wedding. I love taking photos in front of the venue! I’ve been here a couple times, and I have always loved working with them! You won’t regret looking into The Historic Post Office.
