I’m so excited to share this midwest farm engagement session with you today! When Christina and Aaron reached out about their wedding photos, I just couldn’t wait to work with them! There’s something so special about engagement sessions. I love having engagement sessions with my couples so we can really get to know each other before their wedding day! 

Midwest farm engagement session

It was warm summer evening. We walked through the tall grass and they snuggled close together. “Well at least my breath doesn’t smell like cheeseburgers,” she laughed. We joked about how I like to include quotes or moments from the session the blog post and how this should be it. “DO IT!,” she said. “That would so be us!!” These two love to have fun and make jokes. Christina’s smile and laugh could light up anyone around her – they are just that contagious. I wasn’t even having my picture taken and my cheeks hurt when we were done with the session. 

Christina’s mom, Amy, gave us a ride down to the lake, and it’s the whole reason we were able to get so many of these great shots! The light was absolutely fantastic and their outfits were perfect. And, when all of this was combined we were able to create these gorgeous photos! 

Christina and Aaron, thank you so much for allowing me to capture these precious memories for you! Your wedding day is going to be a dream, and I cannot wait to celebrate with you all! I had so much fun with your midwest farm engagement session – from the ride down to the field to taking ring photos on the corn – it was all so perfect.
