Hey there, ladies and gents!
Let me stop for a second to tell you that I am seriously the luckiest photographer in the world. My clients are always so amazing to work with. That’s definitely true of my session with the Fischer grandchildren, too!
I met up with them on the afternoon of Saturday, October 24, at The Confederate Park in Higginsville and the weather was pretty decent for photo-taking. It was partly cloudy, and I would have loved to have some more light to work with, but there were so many great fall colors all over the park. While the weather was fine, it was the Fischer family that made this shoot such a success.
As a Concordia Missouri Photographer, I am used to complicated weather. I was just happy that it was still rather warm at the end of October. We didn’t have to worry about wrapping up in coats between each location or pose change.
The Fischer grandchildren consist of Taylor, Jacob, Braden and Christian – from oldest to youngest. Taylor and Christian are siblings, and Jacob and Braden are brothers. I had so much fun with these kids. Jacob and Braden were so helpful when moving props and were so great when we were taking their photos. Christian absolutely loved all the leaves and some bubbles I’d brought to entertain him. Taylor is beautiful and I loved getting to work with her. She was so helpful with Christian and was able to get him so smile for their sibling photos.
We were working with only about a 15-minute nap for Christian so I was really happy with how the photos turned out.
