To say, I am excited to share this winter newborn lifestyle session with you would be an understatement. Getting to photograph the Moss family again was an incredible experience. The last session we had together was in the fall of 2021 and they just had the framing done on their house. It was so awesome to go back for the newborn session of their second son and get to take pictures in the house now that it was completed. This family is incredibly sweet and kind and wonderful and I am just so lucky that they chose me to help tell their story. I hope you enjoy the newborn photos and family photos from our session together. 

Winter newborn lifestyle session

Lifestyle newborn sessions are definitely one of my favorite ways to capture this sweet time – especially in the winter and we stay inside because keeping that baby warm is my top priority. After a brief slip and slide incident on the ice in their driveway, We started with full family photos in the living room. I loved seeing them all cuddle up together, and David, their older son, was just an absolute champ at having his picture taken.

I loved all of the light pouring into the house through their big gorgeous windows, especially the one in Tolen’s nursery. Whenever I was taking a few photos of Wren and Cody and their new little baby, David was my assistant! I let him use my phone and he captured a few behind the scenes photos of me taking pictures. It was so sweet to see how excited he was about being a big brother and being so helpful.

One of my favorite photos has to be the family in front of the window. I just love that it is all of them together, and that David is getting to be playful and express himself. Tolin is just so sleepy and cozy and Wren’s arms it’s just like I said, one of my favorites from the session.

To the Moss Family, thank you so much for allowing me to capture these precious memories for you! Your family is so sweet, and it was great getting to see you guys again. I can’t wait to see you all continue to grow together!
