I love cold brew coffee, golden light, the sound of a roll of film rewinding, and Iām obsessed with celebrating happy moments. I have a passion for helping couples and families create tangible memories because those photos deserve to be more than a jpeg hidden on some laptop.
While the #Project365 I attempted last year did not go as planned, I’ve decided to attempt a smaller, month-long project.
I feel that the detail shots are things I tend to forget during sessions. I am going to do a personal photography project during the month of March of just detail shots to work on making detail shots a part of my sessions. I will use the hashtag #31daysofdetails to keep track of my photos.
Below is the day one photo of my pup, Banner.
I’ve started a month-long photography project to capture detail images more often. Banner’s messy little facial hair is a detail I’ll always want to remember.
I am using the “genre a month” and “focus on a skill” concepts for the next thirty-one days to improve my attention to detail.
“Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight, O Lord, my rock, my redeemer.” Psalms 19:14.
Taken at the beginning of March, I was so ready for green things and flower blooms.

I spray painted some letter magnets gold about a year ago and I like to spell out different things on our fridge.
Spread my pink lady apples out on the island when we returned from the grocery store.
I ordered some macro filters from Amazon to play around with, and took this photo of a whisk in our kitchen.
