The Pinnacles Engagement Session | Columbia, Mo Wedding Photographer | Lindsey + Henry | Engagement

I’m so excited to share Lindsey and Henry’s The Pinnacles engagement session with you today! When Lindsey reached out about their wedding photos, I just couldn’t wait to work with them! There’s something so special about getting to know a couple at an engagement session. I love getting to know my couples and spend some time with them before their big day!! 

The Pinnacles Engagement Session

I had never been to the Pinnacles before, and it is such a gorgeous location! We opted for a morning session as the weather in Missouri of late has been in the 90s and not ideal in the evenings. It was so fun to walk the trails with Lindsey and Henry, chatting as we went and chasing all the gorgeous morning sun! Seeing as I am ridiculously pregnant, Justin came with me for the session with Lindsey and Henry as we moseyed about The Pinnacles looking for some unique locations for their photos. 

I loved taking wide shots while we were hiking on the trail and by the creek bed to really capture the beauty of the location and some movement from Lindsey and Henry. It was also a really great area to add a little foreground to a few images, which just always takes the photo up a notch in my opinion. These two were so sweet and so much fun to photograph!! We went down a gravel road near The Pinnacles after they changed clothes and took a few more photos while chatting about their wedding day. 

I have to say, I really love their The Pinnacles engagement session!! I am always so happy to explore new locations, and I was so grateful Justin came with me. We were able to have a little time just the two of us while we traveled before the baby comes this week and it was just so needed.  

To Lindsey and Henry, thank you so much for allowing me to capture these precious memories for you! You are both so incredible, and it was great getting to know you guys better. I can’t wait to see you at your wedding in September!
