The pitter-patter of the rain sounds from the roof of the 100-year-old greenhouse. A few drops sneak inside, but inside it’s warm and toasty. The sounds of the rain are drowned out by the sounds of laughter as the little ones keep us entertained. Snuggled up tight, and holding everything most precious to them, my friends seemed to glow with happiness.
My best friend’s sweet baby boy is 6 months old already, and I just can’t believe it. We went to John’s Greenhouse in KCMO, and thankfully that was our plan. The dreary weather and the snow still covering most of the ground meant being indoors was our best option. It was nice to have a fun, green space to use!. It was perfect for their KCMO greenhouse family session. February weather cannot make up it’s mind (come on, enough with the snow and ice already), and when there are two little ones to photograph, you need someplace warm.
Jon and Kali, thank you for letting me continue to document all the stages of your life and your family. Your babies are getting too big too fast (I know I don’t need to tell you this), and I love getting to capture their growth. I adored watching the sweet little ones amazement as we explored all of the aisles. Your daughter’s love of experiencing and seeing everything, your son’s sweet smile and the way you all look at each other with so much love brings me so much joy. I hope you love your KCMO greenhouse family session photos, because I certainly do!
