Project365 – Week 16

Day one hundred six: Thursday, September 17, 2015. Tonight was the last night of couples league, and my Lensbaby arrived so I had to give it a whirl! I definitely think having the manual focus 85mm is making focusing the Lensbaby much easier than many reviews said it was.

Day one hundred seven: Friday, September 18, 2015. Thunderstorms today led me to try an HDR merge for a reflection photo. It’s not what I was hoping for, but not bad I suppose.

Day one hundred eight: Saturday, September 19, 2015. Today we played in a couples tournament. I meant to have my camera out more, but the one time I took a photo was just of these flowers in the rough.

Day one hundred nine: Sunday, September 20, 2015. Today we celebrated my Mema’s 80th birthday at my aunt and uncle’s house. It’s a beautiful place that I would love to do some sessions!

Dad and Squirt walked around the lake looking for fish to jump out of the water.

Day one hundred ten: Monday, September 21, 2015. I’m testing out a Nikon D800 for a couple days, and if I don’t send it back, I suppose purchasing it. It’s a used camera, and so far I really like it. It was the cheapest/easiest way for me to afford a full frame camera. I love how clear the photos are and feel like I could blow one up to any size and never worry about pixelation. This was taken with a manual focus lens in the backyard as my dog ran amuck.

Day one hundred eleven: Tuesday, September 22, 2015. Today was a long day at the office, but then I found out (thank you Instagram) that it was #nationalicecreamconeday and I perked right up! This was taken with the D800 and Lensbaby Composer.
