Preston + Ciara | Higginsville farm engagement session

He looked down and laughed, saying “How did I not know this about you?” as we started the session. Heels,  mud, and a hill were not great for comfortable posing. They laughed together as we found a flat place for the couple to stand. Then it was her turn to laugh. “Oh you mean nuzzle now? I thought you were just giving me a heads up!” he said. He pressed his nose to her temple. Their smiles were captivating as he wrapped his arms around her. They snuggled together and couldn’t keep they smiles from their faces.

These two are perfect for each other, and so in love.

The laughter present at this session was amazing. Whether they were laughing at each other or what I had named some of the poses (I’m looking at you, nuzzle), the smiles were abundant. Ciara’s laugh is infectious, and when the two of them get going, I can’t help but laugh either. These two are perfect for each other, and so in love. The way they hold hands while we talk, waiting for me to finish explaining what we are going to do next is adorable.

Preston and Ciara, thank you for making this session feel like we just decided to get together to hang out. I love seeing how in love the two of you are. And, I adore being able to witness how happy you make each other. Justin and I loved spending the evening with you. On the way home we talked about how much fun we had. I can’t wait to see how big your smiles will be on your wedding day in September of 2018.

Preston and Ciara became engaged Labor Day weekend of 2017. He did an excellent job of proposing in front of their families, and his sister, Tori, was able to capture it all with some amazing photos. I cannot wait for their big day!
