My favorite bridal boutiques | Midwest wedding photographer

Looking for a wedding dress is a super exciting part of wedding planning! You’ve been scouring Pinterest and Instagram for inspiration, and now you’re ready to make some appointments at bridal boutiques. You know who you want to invite, and now you have to find places to go! 

A couple tips first: 1. Research and check the gown styles from each of the bridal boutiques you’re considering to make sure they match the vibe you want for your day. 2. Be open to trying on a wide variety of gowns. You may surprise yourself. 🙂 

The One Bridal

I have had the pleasure of working with The One Bridal a couple of times for styled sessions and their gown selection is incredible. And they are also so incredibly fun to work with!! They are located in Lenexa, and also offer accessories, bridesmaid dresses, and mother’s dresses. 

At my most recent session with them, Natalie stayed the whole time to help fluff the dress, move clips, and toss the veil. It was SO AWESOME! 

True Society Belle Vogue

When I was getting married a girl I worked with at the time found her dress at what was then Belle Vogue, and I was so excited to go check them out! They have since become True Society Belle Vogue, and the experience is so fun when you go to try on dresses or to be a part of the cheering committee. I got my dress there, one of my best friends found her dress there, my cousin and my little sister both did as well. And we all have such different tastes so you know this boutique is good!! 

Gown Gallery

I have been able to photograph gowns from Gown Gallery several times over the years at styled sessions, and they NEVER disappoint. They have a huge collection of wedding gowns and offer so many incredible designers! 

Something White Bridal Boutique

I worked with Something White Bridal Boutique on a styled shoot in 2021, and one of the women who works there stayed to help during the session. It was amazing. She made sure the dress was perfect for all of our images and was just so fun to work with. The dresses for the day were incredible!! 

All My Heart Bridal

All My Heart Bridal is one of my favorite bridal boutiques to follow in IG. Their reels showcase their wonderful collection that varies from timeless to boho to luxe and everything you could imagine. The boutique focuses on curvy and plus-size brides with the largest selection of sizes 14 to 34 in store to try on for brides-to-be.
