Missouri extended family session | Midwest family photographer | The Ryun Family

I’m so excited to share this Missouri extended family session with you today! When I was contacted about family photos for the Ryun family, I just couldn’t wait to work with them! There’s something so special about extended family sessions. I love capturing multiple generations together and documenting that family’s history.

Even though it was cloudy, this session was still a dream! We started with the whole family photos and then tried to do anything with the kids as quickly as possible. Emmie, Beau and Katie’s youngest, was so funny and sweet. She loved to run to hug her sister, Ellie! Since she was the youngest kiddo, we quickly wrapped up any photos that would require her so that she could go play. And thankfully we finished when we did because it was a bit muddy out and there was a small outfit mishap as soon as we were done! 

Marley, Madie and Dane’s oldest, has the BEST facial expressions. I love how emotive she is (especially with Dax), and they are always so fun to photograph. There is always something so special about getting to photograph another photographer’s family. You just know how important photos are to them and it’s such a unique bond/experience when you get to have them in front of your camera to be included in the memories. 

My favorite photos are the ones of the entire family celebrating this awe-inspiring legacy Tim has built up as the patriarch of their family. He is a good man, and a great example to his kids of a wonderful parent. 

To the Ryun and Plymell Families, thank you so much for allowing me to capture these precious memories for you! Your family is so sweet, and it was great to see you all again. I can’t wait to see you all continue to grow together!
