Kali + Jon {Maternity + Engagement} – Concordia, Missouri Photographer

I have waxed poetic many a time about the golden hour, but this light coming through the trees behind these two gorgeous people makes me want to burst with joy. I love when sessions are full of laughter and love, and I love the way Jon looks at Kali.

These two incredible people are doing some big things in their life over the course of the next year. They are finishing up some renovations on their house. Their first little bundle of joy arrives later in the year, making them new parents (to a human anyways, they have some fur babies). And, they are planning their wedding for next summer. Their lives are currently crazy to say the least, but I am so grateful we had the time to get together and photograph this exciting time.

I was able to help Kali and Jon choose their outfits for the session, and helped my dear friend get all dolled up for their session. I adore how happy she was with her curly hair. 🙂 Kali is one of my oldest friends and I could not be more excited about this time in our lives. She’s expecting her first baby. We are planning our weddings. It’s just so incredible.

These two are quick to laugh and seem to feed off of each other. Once one starts, the other is soon to follow. And then I also start laughing.

I am also so in love with Kali’s ring. It is so unique and Jon did an excellent job picking it out. Their proposal story is adorable and completely matches their laid-back personalities.
