Johnson Family

It was a gorgeous, sunny fall day. Geese were moving about the lake and surrounding shoreline. A sweet family snuggled close and smiled wide – so happy to be together. It was a wonderful afternoon.

We met up at Crystal Lake Park in for some Lexington, Mo fall family photos, and we had a blast. Cody and Rachel’s little girl, Harper, was so excited to be outside. She loved the geese (which she kept calling ducks) and getting to pet the dogs of those walking past. It was so cold during their engagement session last November we weren’t able to include Harper in very many photos.

Cody and Rachel, I am so excited for your wedding in January!! It’s going to be amazing and I cannot wait to photograph it. The details you’ve shown me already are so great, and I think it’s going to be an amazing day. I hope you guys love your fall family photos, and I can’t wait to have you in front of my camera for the fifth time! (That is so crazy! Maternity, newborn, engagement, family and then wedding!)

She loved those geese (or ducks, as she called them) so much!

We had such a hard time getting her to look away from all the bird happenings out on the lake, but it was so sweet how interested she was in them!
