Gift ideas for the 2018 holiday season

Picking out gifts for loved ones during the holiday season can be stressful! I’ve included a few ideas below (and yes, a decent amount of them have to do with photos) if you need some help getting something for your people. I love giving photo gifts because I love seeing pictures printed and enjoyed versus only viewed on a screen. There are a few gadget gifts, as well as some great things for your home. I hope you enjoy the ideas and either use them or get inspired to do something uniquely you. 🙂

Photo gifts

Photo related gifts are always a great idea. It’s a bit like giving the gift of time, or a memory. That moment has been frozen forever, and you’re sharing it with those you love most during the holiday season. Some ideas are photo books or albums, ornaments, prints and frames, calendars, or unique prints – like those on wood or on metal. Mpix, Nations Photo Lab, and several other consumer labs have all kinds of deals around the holidays as well. I know that printing photos can get expensive, so taking advantage of those coupon codes could be beneficial.

Gadgets

I love the Instax cameras. I have a few and love to take them to family events. We usually let the little ones run around and take photos and they love getting to see their photos in real life and give them to people. For those who love phone photography, there are several options for phone lenses that would add a variety to your images. Telephoto lenses are especially great because you don’t loose quality like you would when you zoom in on your phone!

House

For our house, I always love to get picture frames! We have the gallery wall shelves and I would love to create another with different prints and such. If you’re looking for suggestions – IKEA has a great variety of sizes with the same kind/style of frame, and Target sells this 9-piece 8×8 inch set that looks like an Instagram grid. I have a wall picked out for the next set of prints, I just can’t decide how I want to do it. What would you suggest?!
