Favorite five things about Italy

I have gone on and on about Italy, and since Thursdays are for favorite five posts, I figured one more wouldn’t hurt right? Read on for my five favorite things about our honeymoon in Italy.

1. Wandering around and exploring

Just taking off and exploring each city in Italy was amazing. We were even able to do this in Pisa to an extent. The tours where everything was explained were great, but it was nice to get to just wander on our own.

2. The food in Florence

Still dreaming of the ravioli from Nella. That place was amazing. And there was such great gelato!

3. The gondola ride

I absolutely loved getting to see the city from the water, the way it was intended. I wish we’d had a private ride, but I’m just happy we were able to go on one!

4. Our tour day in Rome

So. Much. History. Getting to see and explore so many monuments was just incredible.

5. Gelato

Colosseum and gondola ride. When I asked him why he said, “The gondola ride was peaceful and pretty. The Colosseum had all the history.”
