Favorite five things about couples league

Every Thursday evening in summer, Justin and I go to the Tri-City Country Club in Emma, Mo. for couples league. This is out third year playing, and we seem to always have a good time. 🙂 So, since tonight is our last night, it seemed fitting for today’s favorite five to all about golf.

1. Quality time doing something Justin loves

Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy golf. I like to think I have improved tremendously over the last few years. But, Justin loves golf.

2. It’s like a built-in weekly date night

We get to spend a few hours together golfing, and then head to The Palace for dinner afterwards. The Palace is a nice, little bar and grill in Concordia that we love to go to, especially on golf nights because then we don’t have to cook when we get done golfing around 8.

3. Getting to catch up with friends

We have so many friends who also play in league so it’s great to get to hang out with them any time we are playing against each other.

4.Going out to eat afterwards

What date night is complete without a meal? And even better, it’s a meal I didn’t have to prepare and cook myself. 🙂

5. Justin’s favorite thing about league

Not technically one of my favorites, but it is couples league so his favorites count too. When asked the response I got was, “Um… playing golf with you?” and getting a line off of my putt.
