I’m so excited to share this cloudy October Missouri wedding day with you today! I have loved working with Rachel and Jason! From planning their engagement session to nailing down their wedding day timeline, they have been amazing. I was so honored to photograph their wedding day. There’s just something so special about weddings close to home! 

Cloudy October Missouri wedding day 

The day was cool and cloudy, but that didn’t diminish the joy one bit. Rachel and Jason’s wedding day was amazing, and so much fun! There were belly laughs during wedding party photos, happy tears during the ceremony, and megawatt smiles during the toasts. Yeah, I’d say the joy was palpable on Saturday.  

Rachel and Jason opted for a first look and to accomplish as many family formals as possible before the ceremony. This way they could enjoy dismissing their guests pew-by-pew after the ceremony and still have time for sunset photos! I love when we accomplish as many of our must have photos as possible before a ceremony because it means my couples get to enjoy their time after the ceremony celebrating with their people. And, I love that first looks let them have some time for just the two of them! 

To Rachel + Jason, thank you so much for allowing me to capture these precious memories for you! You are both so sweet, and it was great getting to know you guys and your families better. I can’t wait to see you all continue to grow together!
