Stephanie, from Pigeon’s Nest, was kind enough to let me hang out with her as she put the finishing touches on some bridal bouquets so we could chat about all things wedding related. We spoke about her process, what all a couple needs to think about in terms of flowers, and some advice for the bride- and groom-to-be.

Stephanie explains what a consultation with her entails prior to the wedding, and gives some suggestions of things Pigeon’s Nest offers. She also mentions how nice it is to honor those who are helping you with your wedding day. Boutonnieres or corsages for ceremony musicians and guest book attendants are a great place to start.
She said she wishes couples would ask her about more than wedding party bouquets. Stephanie noted that brides should ask about ceremony and reception decorations, and that she has several things that can be rented from Pigeon’s Nest to decorate either one.
Her advice to the couple:
- Be budget conscious – don’t spend all your money on one area and try to make the most of every dollar.
- Do what you can do budget wise, but don’t stress about it.
- Remember that at the end of the day, you’re married and that is the important thing!
I hope this video was helpful with your wedding planning, and that you enjoy the photos from my morning with Stephanie. 🙂
