I’m so excited to share this bright and colorful wedding inspiration at The Maverick with you today! When I saw The Maverick post about scheduling styled sessions in May, I was just so excited to work with them! There’s something so inspiring about styled sessions. They are such an incredible way to collaborate with other amazing vendors and express our creativity.

This session took months of planning and working together to pull it all together. So many vendors contributed and showed off their talents – and it was so amazing. The Missouri weather tried to throw us for a loop with some rain that morning and a bit of cloud coverage plus wind in the early evening. Only in the midwest do we have 90 degree and sunny weather followed by 60s-70s and rain. 

I always love capturing ALL of the details and styled sessions are jam packed with them. Flat lays, cake, desserts, beautiful florals and tablescapes, incredible accessories, stunning dresses… the list just goes on and on. But my all time favorite photos are usually of the couple. I loved this dress with its detachable sleeves and paired with a cathedral length veil – I mean SWOON!! And we were only a block from Town Topic and so close to the Kauffman that The Maverick is in such a great location for portraits! There was an event at the Kauffman so we weren’t able to take photos outside, but man won’t that be fun!?

To the amazing team of vendors, thank you so much for collaborating with me to create these incredible photos! You are all so sweet, and it was great getting to know you all better. I can’t wait to see all your businesses continue to grow and thrive!
