How to use Style and Select

I’m here to walk you through how to use Style and Select – the site that is going to make planning outfits for your session a breeze! Style and Select is the amazing company that was created by two photographers who were looking for a better way to give their clients guidance for their sessions. Style guide PDFs and Pinterest boards just weren’t cutting it. I love this site, and I use it when planning our family sessions! Now, I am going to show you my screen and walk you through how to use Style and Select. 

How to use Style and Select

After we’ve completed the booking process, I will send you a link to the questionnaire and a styling code. You’ll enter the code, and my email – then click “Start Styling.” From there, you’ll fill out the questionnaire.  You can pick the vibe of your outfit choices – urban hipster, boho romantic (my favorite), or casual and charming. Then you’ll select however many people will be in your photos, their sizes and genders. After picking two color choices, you view your results and start picking out your clothes. 

At the end, you select send results. This will pull up a form for you to put in your email address so the results are sent directly to you! From there, you can use the results as inspiration to pull from your own closet, or for shopping. Or you can buy the clothes that you chose. Which is awesome. It’s not just inspiration. Style and Select will email you the links to the clothes you picked so you can buy them if you’d like.
