Andy & Kate {Engagement} – Missouri Engagement Photographer

It was unbelievably hot this evening, but Andy and Kate were troopers. I had so much fun with these two and can’t wait to finish the second half of our session this fall! Andy and Kate are to be married next June. [Edit: And I get to photograph their wedding!]

They met while still in high school and have been together for seven years. They share so many inside jokes and stories, and I loved getting to hear about a few of them.

We went to three different locations, including their house – which is adorable and quite close to my horse barn. As a Missouri engagement photographer, I love being able to take photos at locations that mean something to my clients. It makes the finished product mean that much more to them.

 

Kate sent me some pictures before the shoot so I had an idea about what she waned to get from our session. We were hoping for some wildflowers, but in July it just wasn’t going to happen. All we found was some very tall (like waist-high) grass. My favorite photos from the session are when Andy and Kate are laughing together.

 

We are waiting until the leaves change to finish the session, and I can’t wait! I am going to start a Pinterest board to share with Kate so that we can get some ideas brewing.
