Day eight: June 11, 2015. Thursdays are long days. Up at 5 for a walk, work all day and then Justin and I have couples league at the golf course.
Day nine: June 12, 2015. My parents’ 30th wedding anniversary is on Monday, so this evening we through them a surprise party. The small trip Banner and I took earlier in the week was to get DJ equipment. My Mema made the cake for mom and dad and my younger sister and I both contributed to get the party together. It was a blast. Mema and Squirt also danced to “Baby Got Back.”
Day ten: June 13, 2015. My nephew turned four today. I went over to my parent’s house to see him (his mom works weekends) and he was driving his birthday present around the yard helping his Papa (my father) get ready for his birthday party the next day. My mom and I attended a wedding shower in the afternoon and then went to a driving range with two of my aunts before coming home. We had a family dinner for Squirt’s birthday at our favorite Mexican restaurant.
Day eleven: June 14, 2015. Today was Squirt’s birthday party. We showed up early to swim with him and let Banner get in the pool with us. Justin and I gave Squirt the giant dinosaur pictured and the “National Geographic First Big Book of Dinosaurs for Kids.” The boy loves dinosaurs.
Day twelve: June 15, 2015. Monday was rather uneventful. Banner’s Barkbox came, so he was ecstatic. He just doesn’t enjoy me making him pose for pictures.
Day thirteen: June 16, 2015.

Day fourteen: June 17, 2015. Today, I went riding with my friend Kali and brought my nephew along. My dad came to pick Squirt up so they road around on Dad’s horse, Jesse, for a bit.
