September 2018 Thursday Therapy | Homecoming: A night under the stars

I was so fortunate to be the photographer for the September 2018 Thursday Therapy. If you haven’t heard of Thursday Therapy it is a great way for those of us in the wedding industry to meet, collaborate and network. Meg Stein, who organizes the monthly Kansas City Thursday Therapy events, is amazing and such a great person to host these gatherings.

Thursday Therapy last week was therapeutic to say the least. It was so great to get to meet and reconnect with so many amazing wedding vendors. DJs, venues, bakers, florists, other photographers, event planners – it’s always a great mix of people and Thursday night was no different. The other vendors were incredible, and I loved getting to connect and work with them. They are all listed below the pictures, and you should definitely check them out!

Thursday’s theme was Homecoming: A Night Under the Stars. Several people came dressed to impress – which was awesome! There was a slideshow of homecoming and prom photos from a variety of people, and it only added to the festive air of the evening. 🙂

Fun fact: Murphy’s law struck again. I tried to use a flash diffuser umbrella outside and the wind took it out. Luckily the umbrella saved my flash, but the said umbrella is toast.
