Belle bounds ahead, exploring the path before them. They laugh and call after her. Hands held tight, they follow her; stopping as she runs back to them. And so it goes, the back and forth of a happy puppy and her people – young and in love. Despite the cold, it was the perfect fall evening.
It was a bit chillier than intended, but Ryan and Ashlyn braved the temperatures for their Weston Bend State Park fall engagement session. They brought their nine-month old pup, Belle, and she was so friendly and sweet! I absolutely love dogs, and I love getting to meet my amazing couples’ furbabies during engagement sessions. Ashlyn and Ryan are so adorable together, and I loved getting to know them! They are just perfect for each other. There was a moment when we were walking back to the cars and Ashlyn linked her arms through Ryan’s – and I just had to capture it. I may have even galloped (yes, galloped *face palm*) ahead so that I could get the photo. 🙂
Thank you for braving the chilly (somewhat damp) weather for your engagement photos Ryan and Ashlyn! It was so great to spend the evening with you and your sweet pup. Belle is adorable, and her hot laps were hilarious and wonderful. If only I had that much energy! There may have been a couple moments when I laid on the ground to get the photo, but thank you for hanging in there and trusting that I wasn’t crazy. 🙂 I hope you enjoy your photos, and I am so excited for your May 2019 wedding!
