Rechterman family | Celebrating baby girl’s first birthday at Burr Oaks

Bright blue eyes stared at me from the back seat of their car. Her light brown hair was blowing in the wind as she laughed. She yelled in excitement when I rolled my window down. She’s a year old, and loves to talk even if you’re not sure of everything she is saying. When we walked into the woods and were all amazed by it’s beauty, she cuddled in closer to her momma. She was a momma’s girl that day, and loved snuggling her head right on Kali’s shoulder.

She was such a good sport about all the photos when all she wanted to do was run around and explore. The little one is such a funny baby. She fakes out her mom when Kali wants a kiss. If you ask, she will moo like a cow. She also says yes, and that might have been what she said, but I swear at one point she said cheese. Later, when Jon held her, and the family snuggled in close, baby girl let out a growl that was complete with fist pumping excitement. Her outburst brought on laughter from all of us.

Kali and Jon, thank you so much for letting me be a part of your little one’s life. She is amazing, adorable and absolutely perfect. I love that she and Justin share a birthday, and that I was able to come see you all in the hospital after she was born. 🙂 Seeing her changes from newborn, 3-month, 6-month, 9-month and now a year old! I love her laugh and her little sense of humor. Watching her grow and develop her own personality over the past year has been truly amazing. I loved doing photos for her first birthday at Burr Oaks. I hope you all love your photos, because I definitely do!
