Bride Tribe: My favorite wedding blogs

When we were planning our wedding, there were so many sources of inspiration. From Pinterest, to bridal magazines to wedding blogs – so many options are out there! It’s no secret that I love pretty pictures, so I want to share some of my favorite wedding blogs with you. These blogs are just another place to find some inspiration for your big day. One of my goals is to be published in one in the future. 🙂 Side note: I am in no way affiliated with any of them, I just think they are great!

Style Me Pretty

Style Me Pretty shows you real weddings inspiration, planning advice and they have fashion and beauty advice. There’s also Style Me Pretty Living, which is great too! Their about section says, “Style Me Pretty has been inspiring brides- and grooms-to-be with everything they need to plan the wedding of their dreams since 2007. From the best vendors around the world and the most beautiful real weddings to wedding planning tips and tricks and the latest trends fresh from the runway, Style Me Pretty is here to be every bride’s virtual maid of honor and wedding planning BFF.”

Green Wedding Shoes

This is another site I adore! Green Wedding Shoes has all kinds of great DIY and entertaining articles for bachelorette and bridal showers also. 🙂 According to the about section, “At Green Wedding Shoes, we are truly. madly. deeply. head over heels in love with love. We love sharing weddings with our readers and believe that there is no “right” way to throw a wedding. Whether you’re dreaming of an intimate wedding on a farm, a weekend camping adventure or a handmade wedding in a loft, we love them all! I love showing couples how their wedding can be all about them and that it’s ok to break traditions to make the day their own.”

Grey Likes Weddings

Oh this blog is amazing! Grey Likes Weddings has The Lady’s Society of Matrimonial Finery. The website states, “The Society is an overt nod to the tradition of manners, fine dress, and the grace and civility of true Ladyship. It’s also an acknowledgement that weddings are one of the few remaining reasons women circle together—a bride and her maids (and sometimes even a groom and his gents)—to reconnect, spend actual time together, and contribute to each others’ lives in a real and meaningful way.”

Once Wed offers a free e-book when you sign up for their newsletter with tips about how to plan your beautiful wedding! Not only is it a great source of inspiration, but it offers resources for planning as well. 🙂 Once wed is more about classic, clean imagery. On their about section it states, “At Once Wed, we delight in simplicity with a twist of modern innovation, infusing beautiful design with meaning and emotion. Our clean, organic images and compelling content is meant to inspire you to tell your own love story,to dream beyond trend and tradition, and to create a day that feels deeply symbolic of the love you share together.”
