Behind the Scenes 2018 – KCMO wedding photographer

I am so excited to be sharing our first ever behind the scenes roundup! It has been so great having Justin with me at weddings and sessions. Not only do we get more variety for our couples, but this year we really tried to get some photos of us while we were working. I love working with him and find many of these photos a pretty accurate portrayal of me doing just about anything to get the shot.

Over the next few weeks, the best of babies & bellies, best of couples & engagements, and best of weddings will go live to showcase our favorite photos from the year. I have the best job in the world, and I love getting to be with people on one of their happiest days. Not only being with them, but helping them to cherish those memories forever!

I will do whatever I can to get some genuine smiles.

I do a lot of talking with my hands.

I’m always ready to have my photo taken.

As is Justin.

And to guarantee that you get the pictures you really want from your day.

I tend to get close and personal with all of the rings.

And you’ll never find me laying down on the job.

I will do everything I can to make sure you look your best.

“Hey babe, can you stand there so I can check the light?” always makes Justin so happy. (I’d enter a shrug emoji and the laughing/crying one if I could.)

Justin is an incredible veil thrower, even if he sometimes looks like he’s trying to steal it.

And I just love veil photos.

Getting the couple’s reaction – and the reactions of those close to them – to their slideshow is always one of my favorite moments. 🙂

And just a few more, just because. 🙂
