2018 Resolutions for our home and business

The start of a new year is always so exciting. Everyone is motived, setting goals and working to complete them. I love setting resolutions, but sometimes setting a bunch of big goals at the beginning of the year can be overwhelming. I have a few goals listed below, some personal and some business related. I am hopeful that 2018 is a great year. It has a lot to live up to after the whirlwind of 2017 and our wedding. ๐Ÿ™‚

Be more intentional with each day

I am working to set a purpose for each day, and it doesn’t have to be anything large or profound. One day, it could be that my intention for the day is to tidy up the kitchen. The next it could be to get a large chunk of blogging and business planning down. The purpose of this resolution is mainly to simplify life by getting a little done each day instead of having days where I do absolutely nothing and others were I never get a break.

Stick to the Dave Ramsey Total Money Makeover

Justin and I sat down and figured out our budget, and we are so excited to be taking control of our money. We have our envelopes all set and we are working to become debt free. This is a big one for us, and I am so excited to see how it goes. ๐Ÿ™‚ The biggest struggle for us is eating out.

Walk the dogs more (even when itโ€™s super cold)

I need to be better about taking them for walks when it is chilly. I make excuses and then get comfy on the couch, and that’s not fair to them.

Travel more and/or have more experiences instead of things

We are going to Seattle in April for an engagement session, and I am so excited about that. ๐Ÿ™‚ I hope to travel more, but for now, it’s kind of like this resolution is definitely being accomplished.

Book at least 10 weddings for 2018-2019

I have two booked for 2018 already, but I want to book ten in this calendar year!
